Our sweet history

Butter Sweet has evolved from a small business specialising in delicious donut delivery in Canberra, to a new luxury gifting SINsation for the Canberra region.

Formerly known as The Bunched Co., we closed the chapter on our pretty-in-pink roots in 2024 after seven years of serving up Canberra’s original donut bouquets. Whilst we will continue to be known for mouth-watering, fresh and fluffy enormous donuts, and our signature style presentation of our donut bouquets, it was time for a new era of delectable gifts.

After carefully listening to feedback from customers and researching gaps in the Canberra market, we lovingly curated a new business and brand that better reflects our direction, values and customer needs. Enter Butter Sweet in 2025.

Every single one of our gifts are hand selected, hand packed and hand delivered with love. (We consider ourselves pretty handsy.) Our scrumptious baked goodies are either handmade by us in our registered kitchen using family recipes, or sourced from a bakery with over 40 years’ experience in artisan-made sweets and pastries.

Butter Sweet is not a fast-food shop or mass-produced gifting agency, and you (intentionally) won’t find us on a food delivery services. Each product is lovingly handpicked and packed by us, and then personally hand delivered to your doorstep or your loved one’s doorstep. We believe the experience for the receiver should be just as seamless as the experience of the sender.

Owner/Operator/Founder

Jorja Wallace

Jorja is the human behind the business, and the person you will deal with across all aspects of your Butter Sweet experience (from ordering to packing to delivery).

With Jorja at the helm, you can expect a huge smile, attention to detail, thoughtful deliveries and an openness to feedback. Hailing from a dairy farm in rural North East Victoria, Jorja is no stranger to hard work and delicious home baked treats. Armed with recipes from both sides of her family, and a keen eye for quality products, Jorja is well equipped to take you on a delicious journey throughout life’s ups and downs.

Jorja brings with her a wealth of knowledge gained through years of experience in retail, hospitality, communications, legal, political and business sectors, and is also an author and national award-winning small business owner.

Occasional Delivery Driver & Assistant Taste Tester

Kristian Collins

A born and bred Canberra local, and small business owner himself, Kristian steps in around holidays or major events to lend a hand with delicious deliveries. With differing palates and flavour preferences between them, Kristian is always ready, willing and able to help Jorja taste test all edible elements of the Butter Sweet experience.
